Last September we had a wonderful afternoon out with Nigel & Kate Hunter at Marwell Wildlife in Hampshire.
This was the first time I’d been out visiting somewhere in a long time, but coped fairly well (using my walker) all things considered. With a combination of my medication and lots of rests I was able to see most of the animals, but I was extremely sore & tired by the end!
Took lots of pictures and had a really great time (see more pictures here: Marwell 2015)!

Took this wonderful image of a Japanese Anenome using my Nikon D300 with Micro-Nikkor 105mm f2.8 AF-S VR lens on a monopod while out in the garden.
Used Matrix Metering with Aperture Priority @ f8 to get the best depth of field and ISO was set to auto.
The light was just right so that the background was nice and dark but the flower was lit just perfectly without using flash.
Welcome to my new blog!
I will be showcasing my best and favourite photos here.
